Yeah so I got scolded for not blogging engough.. Whats news here? Besides the crazy snow being dumped on us right now.. I'm playing on the CBS channel 5 affiliate here in Bangor on wed the 21st at between 5-7 am... Wahoo, me on TV! Not cable access. The dude abides..
I'm also auditioning for a cover group in augusta on sunday. While you all know that's not really my thing, I gotta earn my bread too. I've actually been on the hunt for another "Real" job lately. But I feel VERY strongly that I may not need one very soon. I've been meeting some very cool people that may turn into paying gig contacts. I've been trying to practice like mad to make sure, when the opportunity arises I will be up to the challenge. Even started working on my sight reading skills a bit. (notes 80/100 Rythms 80/100 together in time 40/100 lol)
I met "THE GUY" up here the other day. A really nice guy, awesome tech and regular player. We got talking and he mentioned using subs on a regular basis! OMG hope that there is actually a professional level music scene to be found here!!

Proud to call you my friend...poet and musician. if we weren't so content with doing the bare minimum to still be relevent we would have done greater things. Show me it can be done man and then help me do it...i'm so scared to leave my job...and so scared to be doing it and living like this in 20 years...YOU AND I WILL PLAY MUSIC AGAIN!!! and i don't just mean at christmas dinner.
Of all my musical acomplishments to date, the one i am most proud of is the fact that i played for years with someone of your caliber.
i know you still remember how it feels to take the stage infront of a thousand faces with your brother and rock them all. (thanx jovi).
